Weighing as much as 4 fully grown adult men would never fly in Olympic-style wrestling but in WWE wrestling superstars of enormous body weight have gone on to become legends over the years. Andre The Giant, The Big Show, these are just a few of the 13 heaviest WWE wrestlers of all time but they are legendary figures among wrestling fans.

It is impressive to see how massive some of these guys were back in the day and how their immense size helped pave the way for modern wrestling. And sure, there have been a lot of big wrestlers over the years but these are the 13 heaviest WWE wrestlers of all time based on measured weights during their careers.

Some of these wrestlers made their way to the WWE early on while others started as athletes in other sports.

A few of of the 13 heaviest WWE wrestlers of all time had long wrestling careers outside of the WWE and shorter stints in WWE that ultimately led to the WWE Hall of Fame. Different paths or not, these are the 13 heaviest WWE wrestlers of all time.

14. The Great Khali: 419 Pounds

Coming up first in these rankings is Dalip Singh Rana, better known by his ring name as ‘The Great Khali,’ who weighed a whopping 419 pounds. He was a prominent WWE story line fixture throughout the 2000s and 2010s.

At 7’1″ and 419 pounds at his heaviest, he was an absolute force to be reckoned with in matches against The Undertaker, John Cena, Batista, and Triple H as well as in WrestleMania and SummerSlam.

13. Giant Gonzalez: 419 Pounds

Giant Gonzalez, real name Jorge González, was the 13th heaviest wrestler in WWE history at 419 pounds. Born in Argentina, he wrestled in the WCW under the name El Gigante but adopted Giant Gonzalez as his ring name in the WWE. He was also previously in the NBA after being drafted by the Atlanta Hawks

Among many other things, he is the tallest Argentinian man to have ever lived (that we know of) at 8 feet, 0 inches. It is also believed he made his way up to 460 pounds at some point in his career but most record have him at 419 pounds in the WWE.

Solofa Fatu Jr. is best known by his ring name ‘Rikishi’ and he is the 12th heaviest wrestler in WWE history at 425 pounds. Born in San Francisco, he is the dad of of Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, and Solo Sikoa.

At 425 pounds he was a force to be reckoned with and held the WWE Tag Team Championship, World Tag Team Championship (twice), and the WWF Intercontinental Championship among countless other highlights in his career.

11. Gorilla Monsoon: 440 Pounds

At 440 pounds, Gorilla Monsoon was the 11th heaviest wrestler in WWE history. He was an old school wrestler, born in 1937 in Rochester, New York. And the longevity of his career included becoming a play-by-play commentator after retiring. The voice of the WWF, he was portrayed as the WWF President on screen from 1995 to 1997 as well.

During his wrestling days, Gorilla Monsoon (real name Robert James “Gino” Marella) was one of the WWF’s biggest heels from the moment Vince McMahon took over the WWWF and reformed it.

10. The Big Show: 441 Pounds

Paul Donald Wight II aka ‘The Big Show’ is one of the most iconic ‘Big Fella’ wrestlers at all time, weighing a whopping 441 pounds. Prior to getting into wrestling, The Big Show played basketball for Wichita State University.

During his wrestling career, The Big Show was the WWE’s World Heavyweight Championship twice, won the WWF/WWE Championship twice, and took down the WCW World Heavyweight Championship twice in addition to winning the ECW World Heavyweight Championship once. With that, he has the distinction of being the only professional wrestler to win all 4 of those titles in his career.

9. Big Van Vader: 450 Pounds

Leon Allen White aka Big Fan Vader aka Vader was 450 pounds, tying him with 2 other wrestlers in these rankings of the heaviest WWE wrestlers of all-time. He was born in Lynwood, California and was an offensive lineman for the University of Colorado Buffaloes before being drafted by the Los Angeles Rams at 80th overall in the 1978 NFL Draft. With the Rams he would make a Super Bowl but his football career would be cut short by a torn patella tendon.

All 450 pounds of Vader discovered his love of wrestling in 1985 and he’d bounce around before making it to WWF in 1996. Vader was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2022 and his diving “moonsault” is considered among the greatest wrestling maneuvers of all time.

8. One Man Gang: 450 Pounds

George Fray aka the ‘One Man Gang’ was a beefy 450 pounds at his biggest. He wrestled under a few names including Crusher Broomfield, Panama Gang, and others.

Fray was also Akeem “The African Dream” for 3 years in the WWF where he’d lose big matches to Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage. He was also part of the first ever WWF/WWE pay-per-view Survivor Series as a member of Andre the Giant’s team.

7. Uncle Elmer: 450 Pounds

Stanley C. Fraizer aka Uncle Elmer aka Plowboy Frazier is also tied as the 7th heaviest wrestler in WWE history at an even 450 pounds. Born in Mississippi, he wrestled in the WWE/WWF under the character of being “simple country folk” and feuded with Rowdy Roddy Piper and Bob Orton Jr.

6. King Kong Bundy: 458 Pounds

King Kong Bundy, real name Christopher Alan Pallies, was born in New Jersey and got his start there in high school heavyweight wrestling before wrestling for Rowan University. He headlined the very first WWE Survivor Series which debuted in 1987.

King Kong Bundy also wrestled in the WrestleMania 2 (1986) Maine Event against Hulk Hogan in a Steel Cage Match.

5. Earthquake: 468 Pounds

Canadian wrestler John Anthony Tenta Jr. aka ‘Earthquake’ was the 5th heaviest wrestler in WWE history at 468 pounds.

He won the WWE Tag Team Championship with his partner Typhoon and is probably best known as a heel that feuded with Hulk Hogan throughout his career, a feud that included him crushing Hulk Hogan’s ribs with his iconic ‘Earthquake Splash’ move.

4. Viscera: 500 Pounds

Viscera, real name Nelson Lee Frazier Jr., was the 4th heaviest wrestler in WWE history at an even 500 pounds. He was a WWF World Tag Team Champion and WWF Hardcore Champion as well as the 1995 King of the Ring Champion.

One factoid I love about Viscera is that he dabbled in studying Commercial Art in the style of Andy Warhol before graduating high school and later deciding to pursue wrestling full time, a career path that he thrived in.

3. Andre the Giant: 540 Pounds

Arguably the most famous ‘Big Man’ in WWE / wrestling history, Andre the Giant transcended the sport and was the only man Hulk Hogan feared. There are truly incredible Andre the Giant stories floating around the Internet but we’ll keep today to his weight.

Andre the Giant, real name André René Roussimoff, was the the third heaviest wrestler in WWE history at 540 pounds. Keep in mind, the average adult male in the United States weighs 199.8 pounds these days. So he was well over the weight of two fully grown men. Incredible. And a heart of gold.

2. Yokozuna: 600 Pounds

Yokozuna, real name Rodney Agatupu Anoaʻi, was the second heaviest wrestler in WWE history at 600 pounds, just 2 pounds lighter than the heaviest of all-time. He was born in San Francisco, California and came from Polynesian descent.

During his WWE days, Yokozuna was a two-time WWF World Heavyweight Champion, a two-time WWF Tag Team Champion with Owen Hart, and he managed to win the legendary 1993 Royal Rumble. Following his passing in 2000 at the tragic age of 34, he was posthumously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2012.

Coming in at #1 is Haystacks Calhoun out of McKinney, Texas, the heaviest wrestler of all-time at 602 pounds. He was a 2017 inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame and the WWWF World Tag Team Championship champ with Tony Garea.

By the age of 14, Haystacks Calhoun already weighed over 300 pounds! He had reached 600 pounds by his 20s and he chose wisely by putting his considerable weight to good use in professional wrestling. He is said to have been discovered in 1955 by a wrestling promoter who saw him lifting up cows in a field and moving them. Just a giant among men.
