College basketball gears up for the most exciting three weeks in sports. Next week’s NCAA Tournament will be one of Vegas’s most bet on events, with six rounds of action set to kick off on Thursday. Play-in games begin tomorrow.
While the Big Dance isn’t here quite yet, March Madness has already begun.
Last week’s conference tournaments provided hefty payouts to college basketball bettors.
None, however, were more impressive than this nine-leg futures parlay that helped one lucky bettor turn a $1 wager into nearly $10,000 of winnings.

This bettor was looking high and low for tournament action. Bets were placed on the MEAC, Big Sky, WAC, Big West, and SWAC conference tournaments, among others.
Who in the hell is looking at Montana State, CS Fullerton, and Norfolk State when cooking up a parlay of this size? It surely paid off though.
The wager also hit on the PAC 12 and Big Ten tournaments where Arizona and Iowa prevailed, respectively. Iowa, in particular, was a +410 longshot to win the Big Ten title. Those were the largest odds of any team in the parlay.
This winner has to be excited for the upcoming NCAA Tournament. That newly earned $10,000 will be nice to play with over the next few weeks of college basketball action.
We can only hope for this kind of good fortune when the Big Dance begins.
