A Bettor Cashed This $4K Ticket For $442,642 After Hitting A 7-Leg Parlay

As a Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan and FSU grad, I can say for certain that I’ve had better weekends when it comes to football. My teams got absolutely thrashed. FSU wasn’t expected to do much but the Buccaneers and Tom Brady taking a historical loss on Sunday Night Football came as a shock to many.

Because I 100% know exactly how karma works (totally, I do, I swear) I assume that all of the bad football energy I felt was channeled into positive energy elsewhere. One bettor had a particularly special weekend thanks to a massive 7-leg football (NFL + College) parlay. They really had to sweat it out with the Pittsburgh Steelers who dug themselves into an early hole against the Dallas Cowboys.

Side note: when a team/person takes a lead in any sporting event we need to ALL resist the urge to tweet ‘stop the count’ in all caps. That joke was dead within seconds on Sunday as the Dallas Cowboys took an early lead against the undefeated Steelers.

This bettor put up $4,000 for a payout of $442,643.40 after all 7-legs of their parlay hit. Here’s what the bet looked like:

Liberty Football beat Virginia Tech 38-35 on Saturday and Maryland upset the winless Penn State Nittany Lions 35-19. Those were the two most improbably legs of the parlay. When it came down to the Steelers it must’ve looked like an absolute LOCK until the Steelers fell behind against the Cowboys. Pittsburgh put up 15 unanswered points in the 4th quarter and won the game 24-19 to move to 8-0 for the first time in franchise history.
