Blake Corum is fresh off of a national championship at Michigan and enters into the Los Angeles Rams organization with a chip on his shoulder. The 23-year-old running back can’t wait to prove the haters wrong.

His 5-foot-8 frame is a concern to some and his vision can be inconsistent, but he is stupid slippery with incredible balance.

Both of those skills were on full display during a recent workout that has since gone viral. Sean McVay and the coaching staff in Southern California are thrilled to see that he is putting in work!

Corum’s feet were so fast while juking and jiving through the bags that he nearly broke his own ankles.

As things currently stand, the third-round rookie is slated to serve as RB2 alongside Kryen Williams. Corum did not catch a lot of passes out of the backfield while at Michigan, but averaged more than seven yards per reception every time they got him the ball. He also ran for more than 1,000 yards as a junior and senior, with 27 touchdowns en route to the national championship last year.

Corum is only 5-foot-8, which puts him on the lower end of running backs in the NFL. However, at 205 pounds, he is built like a bowling ball and proved in college that size is not an issue.

His ridiculous twitch and next-level burst is going to provide a change of pace to the offense. McVay won’t have to rely on him for all four downs, which should help keep miles off of his tires.

Obviously, one video of one drill from one workout does not translate to success on the field. But if Blake Corum can continue to translate his workouts into on-field play, NFL defenses are going to have a tough time bringing him down.
