I have bad news, fellow millennials. The music we grew up listening to in the 90’s and early 2000s is quickly approaching status as the classics. Remember how you felt when your dad would play Journey’s Greatest Hits in the car on a road trip? That’s how kids now feel about the music we listened to growing up.

But, Saturday’s AFC Divisional Round game between the Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens is going to bring many back down memory lane. Jimmy Meets World, a band you almost certainly forgot about, will be performing at the contest in Baltimore.

Why is this happening? I am unsure. I don’t see any ties to the Baltimore area, where the game is being played. Yes, the band is still active, but nobody knew that until I just told you that.

Nonetheless, these guys had some absolute bangers in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. Their biggest hit is definitely The Middle. Play this song for some incredible nostalgia.

What a great song. It peaked on the top of the Billboard Alternative chart and reached number five, overall.

Jimmy Eat World hasn’t stopped making music since you stopped listening to them. They have ten albums total, and even toured last Summer around the United States.

We’re getting old, folks.
