Aaron Rodgers’ tenure with the New York Jets ended as soon as it began, as doctors seem to fear that the 39-year-old likely suffered a season-ending Achilles injury after just four snaps. In fact, he didn’t even complete a single pass before being taken out of the game.
Given Rodgers’ recent outspokenness regarding modern medicine, some NFL fans are wondering where he draws the line when it comes to letting doctors help him now that he could use it.
ESPN is now reporting that Aaron Rodgers is in the Jets’ “medical yurt” and the team shaman is “rubbing ivermectin on the spot where his chakra decoupled.”

Does Aaron Rodgers let doctors work on him, since he doesn’t trust modern medicine, or does he heal his injuries with herbs and spices?

Sources tell me Aaron Rodgers is on the phone with Dr. Joe Rogan. Apparently, all he needs to do is ingest a half cup of Mister Clean and a dozen marbles

While nothing has been confirmed, the four-time NFL MVP was ruled out by the Jets for the rest of the game before halftime. Rodgers was seen in a walking boot and will reportedly get an MRI to determine the extent of the injury.
Prior to the start of the 2023-24 season, Rodgers went on record to say that he didn’t see his time with the Jets as a “one and done.”
Given that he’s almost 40 years old and just suffered what appears to be a season-ending Achilles injury, though, that could change, meaning there’s a possibility that Rodgers’ — despite all the hype surrounding him heading into the year — never logs a single completion as a member of the franchise.
Oh, so now Aaron Rodgers believes in doctors.

Doctors reportedly fear the worst in regard to Rodgers’ injury, which appears to either be a high ankle sprain or a torn Achilles.
The Jets traded for Rodgers in late April and were not only expected to end their NFL-leading 13-season-long playoff drought but were even one of the betting favorites to win this year’s Super Bowl.

Regardless of how their Week 1 matchup against the Bills winds up, the Jets’ season — now facing the prospect of being quarterbacked by draft bust Zach Wilson — is, for all intents and purposes, over.
At this time, it is unclear whether or not Rodgers will speak to the media after the Monday Night Football game between the Jets and Bills concludes. Either way, head coach Robert Saleh’s press conference will surely be must-see television.
