Original Story:

Aaron Rodgers’ highly anticipated debut with the New York Jets took a devastating turn on Monday Night Football against the Buffalo Bills.

Just four minutes into the game, Rodgers sustained what seems to be significant injury that led to him being carted off the field for x-rays, which were negative.

The latest update from NFL Insider Jordan Schultz indicates a grim outlook as Rodgers is now feared to have suffered an Achilles injury.

Rodgers will have an MRI on Tuesday.

Such an injury would be a severe setback for the Jets, and fans reacted as expected.

If Rodgers is out long-term the question will be about if they’ll stick with Zach Wilson at quarterback long-term not, so far he hasn’t been impressive and threw an interception

Further details on the extent of the injury and potential recovery time are awaited. Rodgers has been ruled out for the remainder of the game.
