Alic Schmidt is one of the most popular athletes on social media with 3.5 million followers on Instagram and 1.1 million on TikTok. Her global popularity is easy to understand when you see warmup videos like the one below where her athleticism is on display.

The German National Team sprinter has been anointed by many as the ‘world’s sexiest athlete’ while racking up Track & Field medals in Europe.

In October of last year, the Post and the Sun both referred to her as the ‘world’s sexiest athlete.’

When asked about her new nickname, Schmidt told The Sun “I do not know why I got this title. Sport comes clearly first There are thousands of girls on Instagram who look good and still do not have as many fans.”

As the saying goes, ‘heavy is the head that wears the crown.’ Being called the ‘world’s sexiest athlete’ places a huge spotlight on her social media activity which often leads to her videos, like this one, going viral:

Shout out to the guy in the background for not even batting an eye as they jumped past him.
