Last night was pretty brutal for certain fantasy football fans who have already held their draft for the season.
Early on in the night, Texans’ running back Lamar Miller tore his ACL during the team’s preseason game against the Cowboys.
This is the play Lamar Miller was injured on. You hate to see this happen to anyone.
Maliek Collins is just too quick for the iOL and makes an outstanding play. Wouldn't surprise me one bit to see Collins in the Pro Bowl this year. Prayers up for Lamar Miller. pic.twitter.com/TjQZx5cfqu

And later on, Andrew Luck abruptly announced his retirement from football.
Filed to ESPN: Andrew Luck has informed the Colts he is retiring from the NFL, per source. There will be a press conference Sunday to make it official, but Luck is mentally worn down, and now checking out.

Unfortunately, one unlucky fan somehow drafted both players just minutes before news of Luck’s retirement and Miller’s injury were reported.
Ouch.
