New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce (Presented by Wave Sports + Entertainment)
Comedian/Actor Andrew Santino was the latest guest on New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce (Presented by Wave Sports + Entertainment) and the stories were flowing like wine.
Nearly an hour and a half into the episode, Andrew Santino told the story of Travis Kelce’s teammate, Patty Mahomes, crushing Coors Light like water at one of his shows and literally drinking a venue out of their beer which forced someone to go buy more. A few minutes later, Santino tells a story with Travis Kelce where they were playing golf with Wrexham AFC co-owner Rob McElhenney who lost his mind on the course.
The long and short of it is Rob McElhenney ended up throwing a golf club through a fence while melting down on the course which after hearing this story is one of the most believable Rob Mac stories I’ve ever heard.
Andrew Santino on Rob McElhenney throwing a golf club: “There’s bushes but there’s also a cross linked fence behind those and he threw it so hard it went through those bushes and through that fence. And the LA River sits below it and it’s all concrete. Most of the time there’s no water in it.”
“You could hear ‘bing bada bing bada bing bada bing’ as you heard his club bounce off the concrete and me and the two dudes we’re playing with… Silence. I didn’t say a world. I was like I’m not gonna say a word for the rest of the day. And now when I tell that story I’m like ‘dude, you know Mac threw a club one time threw the fence’ and he’s like ‘I don’t do that! I don’t do that anymore! That’s not something I do anymore…’ and I’m like ‘okay, man, but you did… You did.’
Then the story shifts to Travis Kelce showing up in his big shiny brand new Rolex watch that he had just gotten and never worn before. Andrew Santino also gives his ‘dream foursome’ on the golf course which is Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, and Kim Jong-Un with the most holes-in-one of all-time….But then he switched Larry into the mix instead of Kim Jonh-Un.
