As of June 9, 2025 — just about a year into her WNBA career — Chicago Sky star Angel Reese has more total rebounds than points. Following the Sky’s latest game, Reese has 532 career rebounds and 526 career points.
Angel Reese’s offensive output has been criticized ever since she entered the league as she’s often racking up exorbitant rebound numbers via her own missed shots. In late May, Reese became the fastest player in WNBA history to record 500+ points and 500+ rebounds for their career.
It was more of the same for Reese over the weekend — the Sky loss to a Caitlin. Clark-less Indiana Fever by a score of 79-52 — as she had 12 rebounds but just 4 points.
I don’t think people understand how angel reese being one of the most popular athlete in the wnba is actually damaging for the way people view the sport https://t.co/Tnb8j3FJdb pic.twitter.com/CCHT3w4T6G

Angel Reese is so bad at basketball hence her immense jealousy towards Caitlyn Clark. Zero skills whatsoever aside from pulling down rebounds.pic.twitter.com/Q4ebBqNHgJ

So far during her second season in the WNBA, Reese is avegaring 9.1 points, 12.3 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game. The Chicago Sky are struggling as a team, though, as they have a 2-5 record through 7 games.
There were some players in the NBA to have more rebounds than points this season, such as the Houston Rockets’ Steven Adams (327 rebounds versus 225 points) and Bismack Biyombo of the San Antonio Spurs (158 rebounds and 144 points). Both of those players, however, are at the twilight of their careers, not the start.
