LSU’s Angel Reese doesn’t plan to go to the White House to celebrate the team’s national championship win.

On Monday, First Lady Jill Biden caused a firestorm when she said that the White House should invite both LSU and Iowa despite the fact that Iowa lost the game.

“I know we’ll have the champions come to the White House, we always do. So, we hope LSU will come,” said Dr. Biden. “But, you know, I’m going to tell Joe I think Iowa should come, too, because they played such a good game.”

Reese reacted to Biden’s comments by calling them ‘a joke.”

On Tuesday, Reese sat down with I Am Athlete podcast and continued firing shots at the First Lady.

“If we were to lose, we would not be getting invited to the White House and I remember she made a comment about both teams being invited because it would show sportsmanship and I’m like are you saying that because of what I did, stuff like that it bothers me because you are a woman and at the end of the day you should be standing behind us”

Reese went on to say that she will not go to the White House and will prefer to celebrate with the Obamas.

“That’s why she wants to come out and apologize but I don’t accept it, I don’t accept the apology because you said what you said.

“You can’t go back on certain things you say, you felt they should have came because of sportsmanship, they can have that spotlight, we’ll go to the Obamas.”
