Fellas, if you ever had dreams of dating superstar WNBA rookie Angel Reese, it’s probably time to let that dream die.
Not that it was going to happen either way. But it almost certainly won’t happen after Reese went on the latest episode of her podcast and laid out a very specific set of parameters for her next boyfriend.
“He gotta be tall,” Reese began to tell her cohosts. “Like, 6’7 (or) 6’8.”
At that point, I was feeling pretty good about the chances of BroBible’s own Connor Toole. But those hopes quickly went out the window.
Reese added that her next man needs to be an NBA player, which, sadly, Connor only was for a brief moment in time.
But the discussion also seems to quash the belief that Reese was dating Detroit Pistons center Jalen Duren.
Duren and Reese shared photos and videos on their Instagram stories from what looked like the exact same location on the exact same day, July 30, according to BroBible’s Grayson Weir. Weird claims noted that the cabanas in the images were exactly the same.
Reese also stated in a tweet on Aug. 5 that she had a man, so if she doesn’t now then something had to change at some point in the last month or so.
Maybe it was just a summer fling.
But further investigative work by Weir found that Reese commented on an Instagram post by former Chicago Sky guard Kysre Gondrezick, who is dating Celtics star Jaylen Brown. Reese wrote “we love our J’s” under a post celebrating Brown’s birthday.
So it’s possible that they’re still dating and this is Reese’s way to slowly hard launch the relationship. But if they’re not, a bunch of NBA forwards and centers just went back home and called their agents to try to get Reese’s number.
