NFL personality Annie Agar turned heads at a recent hockey game between the Red Wings and Blackhawks, surprising followers with her support of Detroit. She then quickly fell out of the city’s good graces with a backhanded jab at the hometown Lions.

Agar is no stranger to the Motor City, having grown up just a few hours away in Grand Rapids, MI. Despite those Michigan ties, her fandom has made her into somewhat of a rival.

Agar’s football ties couldn’t be worse in terms of peeving those in the Wolverine State.

Her love for the Green Bay Packers is well-documented through her incredibly funny NFL-themed videos often posted to social media.

She’s also an Ohio State supporter.

Often seen taking jabs at Green Bay’s NFC North rivals, the Motor City is well aware of Agar’s antics – as are Chicago and Minnesota.

This past weekend though, she took a break from trolling at Detroit’s expense.

Annie Agar repped a Red Wings ensemble at an NHL game.

In Chicago for Sunday’s Blackhawks-Wings matchup, she entered enemy territory in a Detroit jersey.

“See Detroit, I don’t always hate you,” a TikTok caption read accompanied by a video of her fueling the fire of the opposing crowd.

It wouldn’t take long for her to land back on the city’s bad side.

Agar took a direct shot at the Lions on social media.

“Wearing your team’s gear with a divisional title on it is _______?” she asked on X while reposting a photo of an NFC North banner in Ford Field.

The Lions won the division for the first time in 30 years this past season and decided to commemorate the accomplishment. The team finished a game away from the Super Bowl, losing in heartbreaking fashion to the 49ers in the NFC Championship Game after jumping out to a 24-7 lead.

Unable to land much hardware in an otherwise successful season, Agar took the moment to troll the franchise and its empty trophy case.

A true ropey-dope, the jab came just days after getting in the city’s good graces!

Well done.
