In theory, Anthony Davis is an all-time great basketball player. The 6’11 power forward can do it all on a basketball court and was really the first “unicorn” to enter the NBA.
But, he can never stay healthy. It seems like every nagging injury possible comes up for Davis, and he’s often battling something.
This season has been no different. He’s already missed time with back and calf injuries this year for the terrible Los Angeles Lakers. He’s actually played well when he’s been on the court. But, again, that isn’t as often as people would like.
And now, he’s going to miss time again.
Anthony Davis left the Lakers’ game against the Nuggets with another injury

And, soon after, reports came out he would not return.

A source familiar with Anthony Davis’ injury told ESPN the Lakers big man is experiencing discomfort in his right foot but there is hope Davis did not suffer anything severe. He will likely undergo an MRI for further evaluation
