The Minnesota Timberwolves have been largely disappointing so far this season. After making a big trade to acquire Rudy Gobert, the team just hasn’t found a way to work cohesively yet. There’s still time for Minnesota to build chemistry and figure it out. However, shooting guard Anthony Edwards shares his honest breakdown of the team and fans are reeling.

According to Jon Krawczynski, Edwards didn’t hold back when discussing the problems within the organization. The Timberwolves shooting guard shares his thoughts on what’s transpiring, as he believes the entire roster is playing “soft.”
Anthony Edwards: “We just play soft, man. Like, every bump, we flying all over the place, including myself. Teams just coming in like, ‘We’re going to take their heart,’ and that’s what’s going on. We’re down 20 every game! We’ve got to figure it out.”

He’s rather accurate in describing the Timberwolves’ efforts. It’s been a lackluster season so far but there is time for them to turn things around. Even so, the fanbase isn’t pleased with how the year is playing out either, as they call out Anthony Edwards.
As a huge ANT fan he is a large part of the soft label atm. Stops playing when things don’t go his way, argues calls instead of getting back, falls asleep on defense esp when not guarding the ball, very late on rotations and predictable in PnR because he doesn’t pass out of it.

We’ll see if the Timberwolves can turn things around. It’s time to put action to words, as the fans are clearly tired of hearing Anthony Edwards and his teammates say the same thing on repeat.
