- Anthony Edwards was seen launching footballs at an Atlanta facility on Thursday
- He also ran a few go routes, impressing those in attendance
- The sports world is now reacting to the performance on social media
Anthony Edwards really can do it all.
We’ve seen his talents on the basketball court, where he averaged 21.3 points per game to lead the Timberwolves to just their second playoff appearance in the last 18 years. He was even better on the big stage, scoring more than 25 points a night in the postseason.
Speaking of that big stage, Edwards has also shined on the tv screen, recently taking a lead role in the Netflix movie Hustle.
Now, the star NBA guard is in Atlanta taking his crack on the football field.
Earlier this week, he was seen launching footballs, making his case to be the next quarterback for his hometown Falcons. In a clip that’s going viral on social media, Edwards was spotted both tossing deep balls to speedy receivers and also running a few go-routes of his own.
And he didn’t look half bad.
Now, he’s caught the attention of the sports world and even a few notable NFL passers.
