Minnesota Timberwolves star guard Anthony Edwards celebrated the Wolves series-clinching win over the Los Angeles Lakers by doing a lap of the Crypto.com arena to smack-talk Lakers fans. Already considered to be one of the few remaining true “dogs” in the NBA, Edwards conduct both during and after the Lakers series certainly confirmed that.
After closing out LeBron James, Luka Doncic and the rest of the Los Angeles Lakers in a gentlemen’s sweep, Anthony Edwards was filmed walking around outside the Crytpo.com arena jawing with Lakers fans.
In the series-clinching victory over the Los Angeles Lakers, Antony Edwards had a modest game by his standards, scoring 15 points, securing 11 rebounds and dishing out 8 assists. Nevertheless, the superstar was crucial in getting the Wolves to the Western Conference semi-finals for the second straight season.
“They said ‘Lakers in 5,’ and when we was up 3-1, they said ‘Lakers in 7.’ Go to hell today… Good guys don’t die in this movie, Morris Chestnut died in this movie!” Edwards can be heard saying.

Prior to making his way to the streets of LA, Edwards also rattled off some trash talk in the bowels of the arena.
“Ant-man, Batman, Superman… Lakers in 5. S—!” Edwards said, referencing embattled ESPN host Shannon Sharpe picking the Lakers to win in five games in the series.

The Timberwolves social media team also got in on the fun as the posted the clip of Anthony Edwards introduction in the Netflix docuseries Starting 5.

In the next round of the playoffs, the Timberwolves will either face off against the #2 seed Houston Rockets or the #7 Golden State Warriors, who currently have a 3-2 lead in the series.
