For over a year now, it has seemed like football fans had seen the last of Antonio Brown on an NFL field.

His last game in the league saw him remove his gear and leave MetLife Stadium in the middle of a matchup between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New York Jets.

Since then, Brown has been trying his hand at other ventures.

Those ventures included a rap career and owning an arena league team.

Now it looks like his focus may once again be on playing in the NFL.

Brown’s agent, JR Rickert, told CBS Sports’ Cody Benjamin that Brown has received genuine interest from teams and is currently exploring the right fit.

It would be very surprising to see Antonio Brown actually end up on an NFL roster again.

Brown had plenty of off-field issues near the end of his last stint in the league and then didn’t exactly endear himself to the rest of the league when he left that last game with the Buccaneers.

Now he’s reportedly at the center of issues with the arena league team that he owns and is going to be 35 years old before the start of the next NFL season.

Brown is expected to give teams and fans a look at what he still has left in the tank this weekend as he is expected to suit up for the Albany Empire.

Despite what his agent had to say and the likelihood that he looks good against arena league competition tomorrow, it’s just hard to see why teams would be particularly compelled to bring Antonio Brown back to the NFL.
