Argentina fans have been partying non-stop since winning the World Cup. The images online are breathtaking as they surely know how to celebrate.

However, it might be getting a tad out of hand right now. Especially considering Lionel Messi had a hard time getting home.

Barstool Sports shares a clip of hundreds of fans swarming Messi’s home in Argentina. The car can barely squeeze through the crowd as it slowly moves its way up the driveway. I mean, the garage door can barely open due to the number of people standing on his property.

This has to be what it was like for The Beatles right? Just massive amounts of people swarming you everywhere you go. Lionel Messi’s level of fame is insane. Although soccer isn’t all that popular in the USA, Messi is a much bigger sports star than the likes of LeBron James and Tom Brady.

There aren’t many other athletes, or people in general, who are going to draw a crowd that big.

As Americans, this comes off as absolutely absurd. However, soccer really means that much more in other countries. This is the country’s first World Cup win since 1986. However, they were the runner-up in 2014. Lionel Messi finally brings home the title and Argentina is clearly extremely proud of him and the team.

It’s unknown how many fans are outside his home in this clip. However, it was projected that 4 million people were celebrating the World Cup win with the team. Argentina essentially made it a holiday so everyone can celebrate the win.
