During this weekend’s NCAA tournament, Arizona’s Benedict Mathurin found himself going viral for the wrong reasons because of an accident.
After the Wildcats’ second-round win again TCU, a video showed Mathurin appearing to touch a TCU cheerleader’s chest area as he walked off the court.

On Wednesday, Arizona’s Director of Athletics Dave Heeke revealed that he spoke to Benedict about the incident and the Wildcats’ player said he didn’t recall touching the cheerleader’s chest area after the game. Benedict offered to reach out to the TCU cheerleader to apologize for accidentally bumping into her with his hand.
