Ashley Nicole Moss, who co-hosts the BET sports talkshow series 106 & Sports alongside Cam Newton, has shared her awkward reaction to the former NFL quarterback saying that he only hangs around women that he wants to sleep with.
During a recent episode of his Funky Friday Podcast, former NFL MVP Cam Newton was asked if there were any women he had platonic friendships with, prompting him to effusively explain why he does not.
According to Newton, he does not “have women around me that I’m cool with that I don’t have plans on stabbing,” which is about as crude of a way to describe sleeping with someone that does not have to be censored for publication.
“I’m not about to be around no women platonically,” Newton literally yelled. “Because I’m not about to play them type of games. It may be self-control. If she fine, I’m not about to have her around playing that I don’t think that she’s attractive. I don’t have good looking women that’s friend around me.”
Cam Newton says it’s IMPOSSIBLE to have platonic friendships with women without wanting more 😳💀👀

Newton, has he’s done quite a bit in recent years since becoming a sports media talking head, has undoubtedly painted himself to a corner with this one, as it means one of the following has to be true: he does not consider Moss a friend or he does not consider her attractive.
There is a third, secret option, however, that’s actually the most likely, and that’s that Newton actually doesn’t mean what he said and was just bloviating on a podcast to try and project a certain image of himself.
