The Houston Astros and Philadelphia Phillies are set to face off for Game 3 of the 2022 World Series. They’re currently tied 1-1 as they prepare for a pivotal game for the championship. However, it seems Houston can’t escape the “cheating” stereotype, especially after a Philadelphia law firm blasted them ahead of Monday night’s matchup.

Philadelphia Law Firm Roasts Astros With Hilarious “Cheating” Billboard Sign

Marilee Gallagher, a Philadelphia Phillies fan spotted a wild sign from a local law firm called TopDog Law. After news broke of Martín Maldonado using a bat considered illegal in the MLB, baseball fans grew in outrage about the club yet again. So, TopDog Law blasted the Astros away with the best billboard we’ve ever seen.

Oh boy, that’s surely going to rub Houston the wrong way. And of course, Philadelphia is going to love it even more for that specific reason. All thanks to Maldonado, the Atrols may never escape being called cheaters ever again.

This specific incident is not nearly as bad as the sign stealing back in 2017. According to FOX, the bat Martín Maldonado used was sent to him by Albert Pujols and the MLB considers it to be illegal. Apparently, “it was grandfathered in for Pujols because he had been using it prior to 2010.”

The bat splinters more than the bats used nowadays, which is why it was banned by the MLB. It actually doesn’t improve hitting power whatsoever. Even so, the Phillies fans are surely never going to let the Astros forget it.
