Baker Mayfield Responds To Josh Rosen’s Salty Draft Night Comments

UCLA QB Josh Rosen slid down to the tenth spot in last month’s NFL draft and was visibly upset when he vowed to get revenge on the teams who snubbed him.

When interviewed after the draft, Rosen continued being salty when he said that there were “nine mistakes picked ahead of me”

There were nine mistakes made ahead of me, and I’m going to make sure they all know it was a mistake.”

The #1 overall pick in the draft, Baker Mayfield, who participated in the NFLPA’s Rookie Premiere over the weekend in Los Angeles, was asked about Rosen’s remarks and had this response.

“The fact that he can say there’s nine mistakes made ahead of him, how’s he gonna compare himself to a running back and linemen and defensive players that were picked in front of him? There’s no comparison,”

“I think everybody ended up where they’re supposed to be. I get it. I get the competitive nature, but you don’t want to be scripted like that.”

Rosen will have every opportunity to prove himself on the field next season but until then he should probably chill out bashing players that were chosen in front of him.
