Ball State Shames Polymarket Into Deleting Doctored Photo That Made QB Look Fat

Polymarket ripped for mocking Keldric Luster.


Ball State quarterback Keldric Luster has become somewhat of a social media star this offseason due to his 5-foot-10, 250-pound frame.

Unfortunately, that attention has led some to mock the passer ahead of his senior year. One Cardinals athletic department administrator will not stand for negativity.

Assistant AD Kevin Messenger ripped into Polymarket on social media for a “degrading” post designed to gain clicks. He stood up for his guy and forced the account to delete its distasteful image.

Who is Keldric Luster?

Luster is a former Top 100 quarterback from the state of Texas. He boasted three-star status as a high school senior, leading to notable scholarship offers from the likes of SMU, Indiana, Air Force, and Navy.

Ultimately, he signed with the Mustangs where he spent two years before transferring to Texas State. Luster has been a reserve across his three-year career, throwing 12 passes across nine games. He will get an opportunity to start in 2026.

Ball State named Luster its starting quarterback in August. He will take the first snap with the Cardinals face Ohio State this weekend.

The announcement took social media by storm. College football fans were enamored by his size, which is not typical of the position. The overwhelming response was positive like the message posted below.

“Keldric Luster is your new favorite QB.”

Luster is an absolute load to bring down. He is a quarterback in a fullback’s body. His frame makes him the ultimate dual threat.

He can even block!

Keldric Luster earned the starting role at Ball State. He went viral as a result. Others tried to profit on the social media attention. One team failed.

Polymarket doctored a photo.

Keldric Luster weighs 250 pounds. He is not fat. Thick, maybe, but he’s all muscle. Look no further than those tree trunks he calls legs.

Polymarket Football (@PolymarketBlitz) looked for some cheap engagement upon seeing the quarterback’s online fame. They doctored a photo to make him look overweight.

The post got hit with an immediate community note. It was then taken down after Assistant AD Kevin Messenger ripped into the social media account.

Safe to say Messenger was not happy about the fat joke. He called the site out on it in defense of his quarterback. The post is no longer available online.

With the social media drama now behind them, Ball State will look ahead to a Week 1 matchup with the top-ranked Buckeyes. I, for one, will be rooting for a big day from Keldric Luster.
