Wisconsin athletic director Barry Alvarez piloted the Badgers to an upset win over Auburn yesterday in the Outback Bowl after Gary Andersen unexpectedly bolted for Oregon State. Granted, superhuman Melvin Gordon had a lot to do with making the 68-year-old look good out on the field.
But Alvarez was solely responsible for his nice dance moves in the victorious locker room.
Never has a man wearing a sweater vest and white mock turtleneck exuded this much street cred. Never before has a man wearing such an outfit wanted to exude street cred.
