There is a new version of Wordle out in the world and it is simply incredible. Today I found out about the NBA version of wordle and I’m already hooked after playing it once. It seems basketball fans at large are also loving this game.
Part of the fun of this game is that is played in a very different way from the standard game. Instead of guessing a 5-letter word and figuring out the answer based on clues from the letters, you guess a player name and get clues from information about that player.
That information includes what team they play for, which conference they play in, which division their team is in, their position, their height, their age, and their jersey number. Just like Wordle, any information you guess right will show up as green.
You will also be told if the height, age, and jersey number of the player you guessed is higher or lower than that of the correct player for the day. It truly is a fun experience for sports fans and a unique take on the game’s format and it seems like basketball fans are really enjoying it.
