The Cincinnati Bengals haven’t had an easy training camp, last week Joe Burrow had to be carted off the field with an injury and now another player went through the same on Tuesday.

Bengals running back Trayveon Williams sustained an injury at practice that required him to be carted off.

The injury occurred while Williams was participating in individual drills, causing concern among coaches and teammates.

The team’s medical staff promptly attended to him, examining his right leg before making the decision to take him off the field using a cart.

After spending a few minutes on the turf, Williams was carefully transported to the locker room for further evaluation and treatment.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport shed light on the nature of the injury, indicating that Williams is believed to have suffered a mild ankle sprain.

According to Rapoport, the injury is expected to sideline Williams for several weeks as he undergoes rehabilitation.

Trayveon Williams, who was selected as the Bengals’ sixth-round pick from Texas A&M in the 2019 NFL Draft, has been a contributor to the team over the past four seasons.

During Williams’ tenure, he has accumulated a total of 302 yards on 55 career touches, proving his versatility by contributing on special teams and as a returner.
