Atlanta Falcons’ star Kyle Pitts shared his list of the best NFL tight ends of all time, during an interview with the NFL on social media.

Pitts, who was the 4th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, had an impressive rookie season, amassing over 1,000 receiving yards.

Pitts, however, faced challenges with injuries during the 2022 season and caught only 28 passes for 356 yards in 10 games last season.

The 22 years old compiled his ranking of the top tight ends in NFL history:

  1. Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs
  2. Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe, formerly of the Denver Broncos
  3. George Kittle of the San Francisco 49ers
  4. Hall of Famer Ozzie Newsome, formerly of the Cleveland Browns

Notably absent from Pitts’ list are other legendary tight ends such as Antonio Gates, Tony Gonzalez, and Rob Gronkowski, who have left their mark on the league throughout their remarkable careers.
