The University of North Carolina is currently on spring break through March 17th. Many of the school’s students likely enjoyed the downtime with a trip to beach in sunny Florida.
The institution’s head football coach was no different. Bill Belichick bolted alongside 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson for the Sunshine State to soak in the last few moments before returning to campus.
Belichick has been hard at work since taking over his new role in Chapel Hill last winter. Having previously worked in the NFL, he seems to be adjusting quite nicely to the rigors of recruiting and roster management at the college level thus far.
The coach has made his appearances on the trail, bringing in eight new commitments from high school level players in the 2026 class. The Tar Heels’ cycle sits just outside the Top 25 in terms of ranking, but there’s still a long way to go in the process.
Many will be more interested to see how his team performs on the field in 2025. North Carolina kicks off the Bill Belichick era with TCU on September 1st. They’ll host ACC foes like Clemson, Virginia, and Duke in Kenan Memorial Stadium this fall.
Until then, the team will continue to prepare for the upcoming season. That starts with spring practice.
The Tar Heels have already begun the process, and it’s clear that Belichick has his work cut out. With that being said, everyone took a break from the grind to enjoy spring vacation this week.
Bill Belichick ditched football for beach yoga with Jordon Hudson.
Images of the head coach with his girlfriend were posted to her Instagram page on Saturday. He’s apparently working on his fitness and flexibility during his downtime. The grind truly never stops.

Hudson, a former cheerleader, and Belichick have been dating for some time now. She’s even working alongside him at UNC.
They seem inseparable since going public last year, and this spring break outing was no different. The relationship has painted a very different image of Bill Belichick, making him seem more approachable and easy going compared to his days with the Patriots.
Those attributes will only prove beneficial in recruiting and connecting with the younger generation. Soon, break will end, and he’ll get back to the goal of trying to win on the football field. Right now, he seems to be winning at life.
