Bill Belichick Rumored To Meet With Falcons Owner Arthur Blank On His $180M Yacht

Future NFL Hall of Famer Bill Belichick is in need of a new head coaching job and Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank is in need of a new head coach.

That’s the basis of a rumor that has taken off on X, formerly Twitter, with one person claiming they witnessed Bill Belichick “pull up in a golf cart with his signature Mr. Grumpy pants look.” They also claimed they didn’t have their “phone handy as he drove past.”

They shared this information along with a picture of Arthur Blank’s $180 million Oceanco super yacht named ‘dreAMBoat’ which is a nod to Arthur Blank’s initials:

There is truly no way to confirm the validity of this ‘Bill Belichick to the Falcons’ rumor but I’ll throw out some evidence that suggests this information is at least partially legitimate.

First, Arthur Blank‘s dreAMBoat is currently (as of Monday, January 15th) at port in Antigua. While that picture could be from any number of marinas across the world, that does actually appear to be the dock view from the Antigua Yacht Club Marina with the tiny island mountain in the background littered in homes. The views match up to Antigua.

Also… And this second part is a stretch… The person who shared this information on X tweeted several days ago asking if anyone has ever has a good experience with American Air. Which is the #1 airline flying to Antigua? You guessed it, American Airlines.

There are no recents posts on X from people claiming that Bill Belichick was on their flight to Antigua. A 2023 study found that Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank accounted for more carbon emissions than any other NFL owner. In fact, it found he ranked 1st and 3rd on the list because he owns two jets.

Arthur Blank’s Bombardier Global 7500 with tail number N62LV is marked private from publicly available location data as is his Bombardier Global 6000 with tail number NG11BF. All of that is to say the Falcons owner could easily fly Bill Belichick to Antigua on either one of his luxury Bombardier Global jets without the public being able to access those flight logs through normal flight tracking websites.

The rumor that Bill Belichick is meeting with Arthur Blank on his mega yacht has taken off. As far as I know, we are the first website to report that the yacht is in Antigua (according to Ship Tracker).

As of now, this is nothing more than a rumor. And with the Dallas Cowboys expected to make personnel changes quickly, Bill Belichick might want to bide his time before making any decisions about his future.
