Bill fans cannot escape Taylor Swift. After their team fell to Kansas City with the pop star in attendance, scenes of depressed Buffalo supporters being force-fed her seemingly infinite playlist surfaced online.

A fitting end to another disappointing playoff run.

The Bills ended the regular season on an absolute tear, winning their last five contests. That streak started with a victory over the Chiefs in Arrowhead Stadium.

That head-to-head win would give Buffalo the nod in terms of playoff seeding, forcing Kansas City to travel to Highmark Stadium in the Divisional Round.

As has been the case for a number of matchups this season, Taylor Swift made the trip to watch beau Travis Kelce on the field.

Cameras panned her way early and often throughout the course of the broadcast while Jason Kelce did his part to allow Bills fans to interact with the music megastar in the stands.

After the game, however, Swift was likely the last person Bills Mafia wanted to see (or hear!).

After seeing Tyler Bass’s game-tying field goal attempt sail wide right of the uprights, a state of all-too-familiar disappointment ripped through the venue.

The Chiefs did little to lessen the feeling, most notably Travis Kelce, who blew kisses to the crowd from the sidelines.

But the frustrations weren’t limited to just those in attendance. Videos of Bills fans watching along on television soon surfaced on social media, with one offering a truly depressing scene.

Putting Taylor Swift on repeat in a Bills bar is nasty work, and it certainly won’t help fans “Shake it off” from their memories.

With the loss, Kansas City ended Buffalo’s season for the third time in the last four years. This time, though, there’s a little extra salt being rubbed in the wound.
