The Buffalo Bills found themselves in the news cycle when some drama unfolded around Stefon Diggs.

It seems there is some turmoil within the organization that might be carrying over from how the previous season ended.

Diggs didn’t show up to the team’s mandatory minicamp practices, which stirred up plenty of commotion on social media.

However, it sounds like Buffalo is doing everything possible to resolve the situation while Josh Allen takes some of the blame.

According to ESPN, Allen opened up about the drama surrounding Stefon Diggs. He claims that “he did not think there is a personality conflict between him and Diggs but that there are things that could have gone better last year.”

The Bills’ quarterback then gave two examples of how he and the team might be able to find a solution for Diggs.

“Some examples Allen gave of what the Bills can do to support Diggs is incorporating him ‘a little bit better in what we’re doing here’ and ‘getting him the ball or getting more involved in the game plan.'”

Additionally, Josh Allen admitted that the situation “has to do with more than just football.” He then followed that up by taking responsibility, per ESPN.

“There’s things that I could do better to help out with this process and try to get him back here and be the Buffalo Bill that he’s meant to be.”

Working on this problem internally is the correct approach. It’s hard to imagine a scenario where Diggs demands a trade, as the Bills are a legitimate Super Bowl contender.

Allen goes on to explain that a lack of communication could be at the root of the drama surrounding Stefon Diggs, via ESPN.

“I think we’re just, as an organization, maybe not communicating the right way with everything. So again, just trying to talk and listen at the same time and hear him out. And like I said, just try to move this forward as quickly and as respectfully as possible.”

Furthermore, the superstar quarterback made sure to let everyone know that there is no bad blood between himself and Diggs.

“Stef, he’s my guy. Excuse my… I f***ing love him. He’s a brother of mine. This does not work, what we’re doing here, without him.”

So, from the sounds of it, the Josh Allen and the Bills are going to do everything possible to resolve whatever the issue may be. Allen finished his statement letting Diggs know he has his back.

“We wish he was in here today and was out there on the field with us and that’s not the case, but I’ve got his back no matter what. And again, I’ve got no doubt that we will figure out what’s going on. I frigging love him. I can’t stress that enough.”

With all of that said, the ideal situation would be for all of this drama to be put to bed within a couple of weeks. From the sounds of it, the Bills are doing everything in their power to make that happen.
