Blue Jays Outfielder Injures His Oblique And Pride While Sneezing

Plaxico Burress shot himself in the leg. Hunter Pence missed a week of Spring Training running from a hot tub straight through a sliding glass door. Moises Alou tore his ACL falling off a treadmill. Now Toronto Blue Jay outfielder, Kevin Pillar, has been placed on the DL because of a sneeze. Bless him.

Pillar is expected to miss 10 days with an oblique strain while sneezing on Saturday morning.

Surprisingly, this injury isn’t the first of its kind. In 2004, Sammy Sosa was injured in the Cubs’ visiting clubhouse in San Diego when he sneezed, strained his back, and was put on the DL for a month.

Pillar can’t be feeling great about himself. So we’ve compiled a list of more pathetic injuries to lift Kevin’s spirits. People helping people, it’s what we do here at BroBible.

Act like you’ve been there before, Gramatica.

Bro, did your brain just ooze through your ears?

Gus has no idea where he is right now.

Get well soon, Kevin.
