Dissing mayonnaise is lazy. The ‘mayo is gross’ takes have been around my entire life and EVERY SINGLE TIME they come from people whose parents didn’t eat mayonnaise and they were raised to hate on mayo. It never has anything to do with the actual condiment and it has everything to do with their preconceived notions of it.
The ‘mayo is bad’ crowd have trouble explaining why it’s the #1 selling condiment in the United States, more popular than ketchup, if it’s so bad.
Seattle Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner recently dissed mayo in a press conference and then got murdered online by the Duke’s Mayo Bowl and thousands of other people on Twitter making jokes at Bobby’s expense.
Bobby had this to say:

Duke’s Mayo Bowl then swooped in and ethered him with this tweet:

Sonoran style hot dogs have Mayo on them. Sonoran desert is in Arizona. Arizona is 10-2.
Clearly this is not a coincidence.

I’m not the type of person to slather mayo on as a condiment unless it’s lining bread for a club sandwich. But you’ll find me dipping fries in aioli and making spicy truffle deviled eggs.
It’s one of the best mixing condiments in the game if not THE best and it’s nice to see thousands of people backing up the Duke’s Mayo Bowl and clowning on Bobby Wagner’s weak take and the Seattle Seahawks bottom feeding this season.
