Newly-released police bodycam video shows the arrest of a Texas man who broke into the Fort Lauderdale, Florida, home of popular model and content creator Sophie Rain.

Police arrested Connor Litka, 22, in February after he allegedly broke into Rain’s home. He was inside the home, which Rain referred to in a TikTok video as the “new @Bop House,” when the police arrived on the scene on the 1300 block of Seminole Drive.

Police said that when Litka refused to leave, the SWAT team and negotiators also intervened. Officers detained him shortly after and charged him with burglary, peacefully resisting a police officer, and giving a false identity to a law enforcement official.

After the arrest, Sophie Rain posted on TikTok, “thank you to everyone who is wishing me well… super scary situation but i and all my girls are safe thankfully.”

The man allegedly claimed he bought the house and that his last name was ‘Rain’

According to the police report, Sophie Rain had just gotten back to the house when she noticed through the glass that Litka was coming down the stairs without a shirt on. He informed her that he had recently purchased the house. “He talked to my friends who were there and said, ’I’m not leaving, this is my house, I bought it, I’ve been here since last night,'” NBC Miami reports she said.

When police took him into custody, Litka reportedly told an officer that his name was “Conner Rain.” Additionally, footage showed authorities threatening to prosecute Litka with an additional violation if he did not provide his true name, but he would not comply.

According to the complaint, the property manager also claimed to have seen Litka on security footage jumping over a side fence and breaking a glass door with what looked like a rock. Photos later showed what appeared to be a damaged back door.

A judge sentenced Litka to 89 days in jail and put him on probation. The judge ruled that upon successful completion of his probation, he would dismiss certain charges. His probation period ended last month, according to NBC Miami.
