Boxer/model Ebanie Bridges suffered a devastating loss in what was supposed to be her big U.S. showcase.
Ahead of her fight on Saturday night in San Francisco on the Haney/Prograis undercard, Bridges promised to beat on a show in America.
“I’ve been wanting to fight here in America on a big platform like DAZN with Matchroom, so I’m really, really excited to defend my world title here in San Francisco in such a great card…I can’t wait to get in there, I’ve been working with Dave, I definitely want get in there and show you what I’ve been doing, what I’ve been working on.”
Bridges went viral while promoting Conor McGregor’s Forged Irish Stout beer at the weigh-ins.

Unfortunately for Bridges, Miyo Yoshida spoiled her US showcase by putting a beatdown on her opponent in a huge upset.

Wow. Miyo Yoshida, 7:1 underdog and short notice replacement, dethrones Ebanie Bridges to kick off the Haney x Prograis PPV main card. Awesome scenes with her daughter crying in her arms afterwards.

Conor McGregor got blamed by fans for Bridges’ lackluster performance after he signed her as a promotional model for his Forged Irish Stout beer.

Ebanie Bridges puts in more effort in @forgewhisky by Conor Mcgregor than her fight with Yoshida.
Yoshida was just too fast, too strong for her. Leaving Tibbs boxing was a mistake.
Too sharp and active for a slow Bridges #HaneyPrograis— mmarcel (@AllAboutJoseph1) December 10, 2023
