On Sunday, Brian Poole recorded one of the most memorable moments in his four-year NFL career after the Jets cornerback picked off Derek Carr and took it to the endzone in a 34-3 rout of the visiting Raiders.

While the 27-year-old was celebrating the first touchdown of his career in the back of the endzone, some houligan reached out and snatched the ball from Poole’s hands.

Quick hands.

After the game, the 27-year-old made a PSA on Twitter announcing that he’s willing to trade a signed jersey for the return of the ball.

As a sweetener, Sportsbook Bovada tweeted that it would give the fan $100 credit if he gives the ball back and mattress company You + Sleep also claimed it would throw in a free mattress to the fan upon return.

At the time of this writing, the fan has yet to be enticed by a signed Brian Poole jersey, a $100 Bovada credit, and a free mattress. Gotta respect the dude, he knows he has all the cards and he’s playing the waiting game to up the stakes. Only a matter of time before the Jets offer him a 10-day contract or an assistant coaching position.

The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
