Brittney Griner is being confronted about a viral moment during her game against Caitlin Clark. Last month, the Internet accused Griner of saying ‘f’ing white girl” on the bench when her team was losing to Clark and the Fever. Fans assumed that Griner was talking about Clark at the time.

Over the weekend, Outkick’s Dan Zaksheske asked Griner about the clip, and the WNBA star claimed that she couldn’t remember what she said.
I asked Brittney Griner what she said after fouling out against the Indiana Fever three weeks ago (since no one else has asked since then), and she said she “can’t remember.”
I offered to show her the viral clip to jog her memory, but she said that “wouldn’t help.” pic.twitter.com/mdXxhMwwGM

Griner was asked once again about the alleged comments, and she denied cursing out Clark because “she doesn’t use that type of language.”
After the game, I asked Brittney Griner if it was possible that she said “f***ing white girl” after fouling out against the Indiana Fever, even though she couldn’t remember what she said.
“I know it wasn’t that because I wouldn’t use that type of language,” she said. pic.twitter.com/ny9pXCzpCt
