Boston Red Sox left fielder Jonny Gomes lost a Brian Dozier fly ball in the lights last night. The baseball mysteriously disappeared on him like Oceanic Flight 815. His hide was saved by his center fielder, Brock Holt, who appeared out of nowhere (like Richard Alpert, if we’re continuing the Lost references).
Gomes owes his teammate a delicious steak dinner at an above-average restaurant as part of baseball’s unwritten rules.
