Bill Walton Couldn’t Believe Bronny James Was T’d Up For Chirping Rival After Big LeBron-Like Block

Bronny James Technical Foul Block

Bronny James picked up the first technical foul of his college basketball career on Saturday night. It was questionable and Bill Walton couldn’t believe it because the son of LeBron James is “a quiet, determined, purpose-driven young man.”

Despite the 1970s UCLA legend’s disbelief, Bronny was indeed issued a tech against Walton’s alma mater. The officials did not appreciate his yapping after a vicious block.

USC’s freshman phenom looked just like his dad while elevating.

He sent the ball into the second row. Literally. A man and women sitting behind the baseline had to swat it away like Bronny did to the Bruins.

Although the block on Dylan Andrews was clean, the foul was called for what happened right after. Bonny landed back with two feet on the hardwood and turned to the crosstown rival with some choice words.

Bronny James said “GIVE ME THAT S—!!”

There is no doubt that his last name played a role in the ruling. A technical foul can be called there even if it feels like it didn’t have to be called there. Whatever.

Bronny got T’d up!

Walton was not the only one who was confused by what went down. Bronny looked baffled by the weak decision. The Galen Center strongly disagreed with the call.

In addition to the ‘James factor,’ USC and UCLA hate each other. Bronny likely got hit with the technical as a warning shot. The Pac-12 officials were not going to allow things to get out of hand.

Even though both teams were under .500 entering the game, tensions were high. It was a packed house with Scottie Pippen and Mark Sanchez among the celebrities in attendance.

All of the various heightened elements to the equation led Bronny James to get called for the first technical foul of his freshman season of college basketball with the Trojans.
