Bronny James is the biggest name in college basketball. He might not be the best player in the country. He might not be a first round pick in the NBA Draft. We don’t know. There is a lot of time for his career to unfold!

However, his impact on the sport is unlike any other athlete the country — as exemplified in Los Angeles this weekend.

The son of LeBron James is set to make his debut on Sunday. USC will play Long Beach State.

There will not be an empty seat in the entire gym! Tickets are sold out.

It will be the Trojans’ first true sellout of the season. The Bronny James effect is very real.

For those who couldn’t get tickets, the most expensive seats on the resale market are listed at $16,899. Just to get in the door will cost no less than $80!

Bronny James is back!

Sunday afternoon will mark the 19-year-old, former five-star recruit’s first-ever college basketball game. He suffered cardiac arrest over the summer and had to work his way back to the court during the early-season. His first full-contact practice took place last week and he was back to full speed on Friday!

There is still a chance that James does not see the court, however, according to head coach Andy Enfield — assuming that everything goes according to plan — he will get him in the game. More than 10,000 fans will pack into the Galen Center to watch the most-hyped player in recent history.

James may only play a handful of minutes against the Beach. That’s okay.

As soon as he steps onto the court, the fans are going to blow the roof off of the building. There will be a standing ovation. It will be wild.

If James can find nylon and get points on the board, the place will explode into utter mayhem. For him to even be on the floor this season, after suffering from a heart attack less than six months ago, is pretty cool. For him to (pretty much singlehandedly) sell out the arena is insane!
