Brooks Koepka just recently won the PGA Championship event at the Oak Hill East Course.

He’s secured three PGA Championship, and five total majors throughout his career. However, things turned south after his latest victory.

After earning his latest win, Golf Channel’s announcers Brandel Chamblee and Brad Faxon got into an awkward debate about Koepka. Since then, Brooks Koepka’s coach, Claude Harmon III, blasted the media for their coverage.

Here’s the interaction between Chamblee and Faxon. Things got weird quick as the two got into a bit of a “stand-off” at the desk, per Awful Announcing.

Just weird vibes all around. It certainly didn’t sit well with Harmon, as according to NUCLR Golf and Golf Week, Koepka’s coach called Brandel Chamblee “a paid actor.”

He even got a bit political as he calls out Chamblee and Eamon Lynch for working for NBC Golf. Here is Harmon’s full statement.

Clearly, these announcers rubbed Claude Harmon III the wrong way. Meanwhile, Brooks Koepka hasn’t released a statement on the topic at hand.

In addition, the media members being called out have not responded to Harmon either.

It’s nice to see Brooks Koepka’s coach have his back though. Especially after winning another PGA Championship.

Golf has been a bit dramatic over recent years since LIV Golf came into existence. With that in mind, the drama probably isn’t going to slow down anytime soon.
