Brooks Koepka’s Ryder Cup Mullet Is Everything That Is Right About America

We’re one week away from the 2023 Ryder Cup at Marco Simone Golf and Country Club in Rome and Team USA seems to be preparing in the best way possible: team mullets.

That’s right. Team mullets. Or as they’re now being called, “freedom flows.” Because what could be more America than that?

World cup debutante Sam Burns was the first to show off his incredible new flow, complete with “USA” etched into the side.

But not to be out done, Brooks Koepka then showed off his own freedom flow, which unsurprisingly looked completely sick. Although the look on Koepka’s face didn’t look completely sold.

Koepka narrowly missed out on automatically qualifying for Team USA. But both fans and media members made it clear that they wanted the five-time major champ on the team.

The LIV Golf superstar has also kept busy in the lead up to the Ryder Cup. Most recently, he was guest on Barstool Sports’ Pardon My Take where he revealed he just how many major championships he believes he could still win.

“I feel like I can get to 12,” Koepka said, much to the surprise of the show’s hosts. “Well, you think about it, right? Look how many I’ve already blown. Like, I blew one to Phil. So that would be six. Tiger, that’s seven. Jon Rahm…Gary Woodland. That’s nine. I feel like I should have nine.”

Koepka also said that he still feels like he could catch and pass Tiger Woods’ 15 majors, and that Woods’ has always been the standard.

If Koepka comes into next week’s Ryder Cup with those vibes and that confidence, good luck to Team Europe. Especially since it seems like Koepka’s vibes have spread to the rest of the team. Well, at least Burns.

But hey, at least Rory McIlroy is off getting hammered somewhere in Greece.
