Sunday night’s Browns-Giants game was dubbed the Freddie Kitchens revenge game, but things aren’t going too well for Kitchens.
Earlier in the week, it was revealed that the former Cleveland Browns head coach would be serving as offensive coordinator against his former team after Jason Garrett contracted Covid-19.
Giants Statement: Offensive Coordinator Jason Garrett has tested positive for COVID-19. He will continue to work remotely.
Tight ends coach Freddie Kitchens will serve as the team’s offensive play caller on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns.

During the game, Kitchens ran an absolutely terrible trick play on 4th down in the red zone for the Giants.

Browns fans loved seeing Kitchens fail and immediately mocked him on social media.
Now THAT’S a Freddie Kitchens call. #CLEvsNYG

I completely forgot Freddie Kitchens was calling plays for the Giants this week.
That playcall now makes perfect sense.
It also allows me to reuse this classic: pic.twitter.com/WhW9ukZkRg
