Bryson DeChambeau is fresh off his second US Open win, four years after winning his first at Winged Foot in 2020. A lot has changed in the time between those victories – much of which revolves around the outside view of the golfer.
Once seen as short-tempered and highly competitive (to the annoyance of his rivals), he’s suddenly become a fan favorite. What’s changed?
Nowadays, he’s often spotted interacting with the crowd, going out of his way to make those in attendance feel a part of the action. He’s put that overly competitive attitude behind him to become, some could say, over-complimentary of his opponents on the course.

That was on full display this weekend at the US Open.
Energy was high, and DeChambeau was engaged with those on hand at Pinehurst. It seemed a number of folks in attendance wanted him to leave with a win over Rory McIlroy.
After picking up the victory, the party continued.
DeChambeau let everyone on the grounds touch the trophy as he walked through swarms of cheering patrons. And he continued to do so even after leaving the club.

DeChambeau is active on his socials, particularly for his 1.3M Instagram followers. He also boasts 400K more on X, and continuously pumps out golf content on his YouTube page.
Those videos include one-on-one competitions against the likes of Phil Mickelson and Paige Spiranac. Golf lessons are also available for those looking to improve their game.
