Popular golf influencer Paige Spiranac returned to YouTube on Thursday and shared a new video in which she plays a very unique match against LIV Golf pro Bryson DeChambeau.

“We are doing a fun match today against Bryson DeChambeau,” Paige explains at the beginning of her video. “And we were thinking, you know, what could make this fair? Because, you know, clearly, um, someone plays golf at the highest level for a living and um, I just, you know, kind of exist.

“So I was thinking that I play straight up normal golf and then I get to pick whatever club that I want him to hit and you just have to play,” Spiranac said to DeChambeau. “How do you feel about that?”

After some clarification of the rules, it was determined that despite once she chooses a golf club for him (including the putter) he cannot use it again at any point in their three hole contest.

Spiranac’s first choice of club was one of DeChambeau’s “seven” 60 degree wedges. Unfortunately for her, Bryson scoffed when he saw it, saying it was his “gamer” wedge.

After leaving himself 90 yards to the hole (yes, that’s correct) after hitting his 60 degree wedge off the tee, Spiranac chose to make him use his five wood out the sand trap for his second shot.

At this point you can already see how this is going to go for him. He ended up in another bunker.

Feeling bad about that, Paige Spiranac then allowed DeChambeau to use an eight iron out of the sand.

Then, using another 60 degree wedge for his fourth shot, Bryson ended up actually closer to the hole than Spiranac did with her third shot. Then he used the wedge to finish out a bogey.

Paige Spiranac ended up making par. Maybe it won’t be so bad after all for him?

It turns out that the strange golf contest ended up coming down to each of their final shots, with Spiranac having to make around a 12 foot putt to win.

Did she do it? What do you think?
