Popular golf influencer Paige Spiranac returned to her YouTube channel on Thursday to play nine holes at Bay Hill in Florida, only she did it using a golf simulator.

This isn’t the first time Spiranac has played some virtual golf in one of her videos. Back in November, Paige “visited” the legendary golf course at Pebble Beach and shot one-under par for nine holes.

Prior to that, she took on TPC Scottsdale on Golden Tee to see if she is a better golfer in real life or better at video game golf. (Either way, it looked very frustrating.)

During her virtual round at Bay Hill, Paige Spiranac also peppered in some of her usual golf tips along the way.

To start out, Spiranac says that she, like many others out there, gets a little nervous on the first tee so she says she tried to hit a “fairway finder” or a shot where she swings a little easier, “but still commit to it and just try to be a little more compact.”

Another tip she shared was how to be better at putting on a golf simulator – something that Paige says a lot of people have trouble with – by remembering “how far it takes to [reach] the screen.”

“I know I need to hit it just a little bit harder to get it to the screen and then I’m also looking on the screen where it’s breaking,” she advised. “And so I’ll just line up a little bit more right or left depending on how it’s sloping.”

Paige also advised that when playing on a golf simulator it’s good to try playing from the different tees.

“I recommend mixing it up,” she said. “Play from back tees, front tees, all different tees, because you get so many different shots.

“I noticed when I play from the front tees you get to work on your wedge and scoring, but your driving accuracy really narrows in and you have to find the perfect start line.

“And so it really makes you focus on how accurate you are off the tee there’s so many benefits from playing the forward tee boxes.”

In the end, Paige Spiranac ended up meeting her goal, which she said she would have been “devastated” if she hadn’t since she was playing from those front tees.
