Popular golf influencer Paige Spiranac was back on her YouTube channel this week with another one of her challenges.
This week, Paige played nine holes at the iconic Pebble Beach using a golf simulator at X-Golf and challenged her fans to beat her score.
“You guys loved the last one that I did, so I thought I would do one that we can all do together,” Spiranac begins the video.
As she was playing her round, Spiranac shared some of her experiences at the real Pebble Beach.
“I was was so excited to play the golf course and I’m going to tell you, this first hole is one of the more disappointing first holes,” Paige admitted.
“Because you’re expecting this amazing golf course and you pull up on this first hole and you’re like, ‘This is it? This is Pebble Beach?’
“And then you get to like, the second, third, fourth, fifth and you’re like, oh, okay this is one of the greatest golf courses of all time!” she continued.
“But you get to this first hole and you’re kind of like, ‘Man, like, this is not what I signed up for.’ So that was my first reaction to when I got to Pebble and played the first hole.”
Spiranac also addressed some of the downsides of simulator golf, which, in a way, can be a plus?
“I will say that I think in simulator golf one thing that’s a little bit more challenging is the short game,” she said. “‘Cause you have to be so precise, which is great, because you want to get better and you want to carry that to the golf course. And so if you could hit really good chip shots and putts here at X golf, it does translate really well over to the golf course.”
Throughout the round, Spiranac appeared to get more and more frustrated that she wasn’t doing better, but she still managed to shoot one-under par, which is better than most of us would do at a course as difficult as Pebble Beach.
Plus, her many fans seemed to really enjoy the video.
“I couldn’t get close to beating your score Paige. You’re the best. That swing is a thing of beauty,” one fan wrote in the comments.

“If we’re playing by Mario golf rules…I could probably stand a chance at beating you lol. Awesome vid!!!” read another comment.
