Paige Spiranac’s ‘Golden Tee’ Challenge Produces An Unexpected Result

Everyone’s favorite golfer Paige Spiranac is back, showing why she is the number one player in the golf influencer game.

In her latest social media effort, the ultra popular internet star performed a very interesting challenge.

What she did was play nine holes of golf on the video game Golden Tee, then she went out on the real course and tried to beat the score she posted on the game.

The idea, she says in the video shared with her 361,000 YouTube followers, was to find out if she is a better Golden Tee player than she is an actual golfer.

“I think I’m going to be a better golfer,” Spiranac guessed before beginning the challenge.

The golf course she chose to play at for the video game part of the challenge was TPC Scottsdale, which she says is one of her favorites.

She did have one complaint about Golden Tee before beginning the challenge, however, and that was the fact that the outfit her avatar was wearing, slacks and a polo, was definitely not “Paige approved.”

As the video continued, it turned out that Paige was actually a pretty darn good Golden Tee player.

In fact, Spiranac was so good that she would have to beat her best score ever in real life in order to top what she shot on the virtual course.

“If I birdie this hole,” she said after eight holes on Golden Tee, “there’s no shot that I will play this well on a real golf course.”

Spiranac ended up shooting six-under for nine holes on Golden Tee. The best nine hole score she says she’s ever shot is six-under.

Could she beat that and prove she is a better golfer in real life than she is a Golden Tee player?

To give herself any chance of doing it she chose to play a par three course and hoped to make “a ton of birdies.”

She definitely gave it a run for the money and did better than most people would have done, but in the end six-under for nine holes was just too much to overcome.

Paige Spiranac also recently tried another challenge where she had 25 shots to hit a hole in one. Perhaps she fared better in that one?
